Summer has finally reached its peak. Temperatures are soaring and this almost screams for a refreshing dip. Here are the best places to swim around Söll if you need to cool off after a long day of hiking in the mountains or simply want to spend a relaxing day at the lake.
Ahornsee in Söll
The Ahornsee lake in a narrow, beautiful valley surrounded by high rock faces is up to eleven meters deep and provides refreshing cooling on hot summer days. A beach volleyball court provides sporting action, a children’s area leaves nothing to be desired for younger guests, the kiosk provides refreshments and sun loungers and parasols guarantee a relaxing day of swimming.
Hintersteiner Lake
This lake is a true natural gem in the middle of the Wilder Kaiser nature reserve. Lake Hintersteiner See boasts turquoise-blue, crystal-clear water and is one of the most beautiful lakes in the whole of Tyrol. The southern shore boasts a magnificent view over the entire lake and there is a small lido on the northern shore – pure nature!
Going bathing lake
Goinger Badesee is located right on the edge of the forest with a breathtaking view of the Kaiser Mountains. With its small adventure park, the bathing lake is perfect for families with children, but of course adults can also enjoy a relaxing day of swimming on the spacious sunbathing lawn.
