The beautiful Hechtsee lake is just 20 minutes’ drive from Hotel Tyrol. A very special place to get some fresh air, unwind and enjoy nature all year round.
Hechtsee lake is without a doubt a real gem in Kufsteinerland. With its 28 hectares of water, the lake is not only the largest bathing lake around Kufstein, but also impresses with its crystal-clear water, idyllic location and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and the Wilder Kaiser.
In hot summer weather, the lido at Hechtsee is the perfect place to spend a few sunny hours. Whether swimming, volleyball or table tennis, everyone is sure to find the right activity here.
If you want to discover the beauty of the lake from all sides, you can do so on a 2.6 km circular walk. Through forests, past reed beds or pause briefly to marvel at the giant carp on the northern shore. Hechtsee is also the starting point for the 4-lake hike past Egelsee to Längs- and Pfrillsee.
