Hiking in summer is probably one of the most beautiful outdoor activities of all. Our region, the Wilder Kaiser, is particularly suitable for adventurous hikes.
For the particularly adventurous among you, we have the perfect hiking tip: the “Kaiserkrone” hike around the Wilder Kaiser.
This five-day hike could be your personal highlight this summer. Passing rustic alpine pastures, beautiful pure nature and Lake Hintersteiner See, there is plenty to discover and marvel at along the 65 km route.
Not only the immediate surroundings are an eye-catcher, but also the view of the surrounding peaks and valleys and the view of Lake Chiemsee and the Grossglöckner.
The route stretches over five stages until you reach the Kaiserkrone and thus the “crowning glory” of the long-distance hike after covering around 5,000 meters in altitude – provided you have a head for heights and are sure-footed.
