We are at the start of a new year and the corona crisis still has us fully in its grip. Nevertheless, there can’t be a winter in Austria without skiing – it’s simply a part of it here.
The Wilder Kaiser region is known for its perfectly groomed slopes and many of our almost 300 kilometers of slopes are of course open for you again this year. Compliance with all corona measures goes without saying.
The capacity of gondolas and chairlifts has been reduced by 50%. Families are of course excluded from this regulation. All lifts on the Wilder Kaiser are very well ventilated and the travel time per lift is always less than 15 minutes. The speed of some lifts has even been increased accordingly. All gondolas are also regularly disinfected using cold fog in order to avoid potential risks as far as possible.

SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser would like to offer all guests a relaxed day of skiing, which is why the lifts open at 8:00 am. This means there is even more time for fun on the slopes.
Most of the local ski schools are also already open. Of course, all Covid-19 measures are also being observed for ski lessons. All courses can be conveniently booked online and can often be canceled up to 48 hours before the start. For more details, please contact the ski school of your choice directly.
We look forward to welcoming you soon in the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser and hopefully soon again at the Hotel Tyrol.
